Project Overview:

Kent Power is leading construction of a new Indiana Substation Project to improve transmission reliability and system capacity across northern Indiana. The project includes full civil site prep, foundations, structural steel installation, and electrical systems – all managed under tight regulatory and environmental standards.

Project Outcomes:

  • Delivered comprehensive substation construction including below-grade grounding, foundations, and raceways.
  • Overcame early site elevation challenges – correcting a 14,000 cubic yard overcut through effective survey and contractor coordination.
  • Implemented strict environmental compliance measures following Keramida ECP standards to ensure site stability and minimal impact.
  • Maintained schedule despite heavy subcontractor reliance by reinforcing communication, tracking, and on-site supervision.
  • Developed clear safety and access protocols to navigate high-traffic industrial surroundings.
  • Timeline: January 20 – November 28, 2025
